- Do you offer penetration testing?
- Yes. Smart Connect Pros runs external network and web-application penetration tests: authorised, human-led attempts to exploit real weaknesses, scoped in writing and run to a recognised methodology such as PTES, NIST SP 800-115, and the OWASP testing guides. Findings are rated on CVSS and delivered with reproduction steps and remediation, and the engagement closes with a retest that confirms the fixes hold. A test is independent assurance only when the tester does not run the systems being tested, so independent engagements are for environments Smart Connect Pros does not manage; where it does manage the environment, that is disclosed and the work is read as internal diligence.

- Ongoing management is billed monthly and sized to your headcount and the systems actually in use, rather than a fixed per-seat rate that assumes every business looks the same. Project work such as a migration or a security assessment is scoped and quoted in writing before it starts. Advisory can be booked as standing time each month.
- Do you work with businesses that already have IT staff?
- Yes. A common arrangement is advisory only, where the internal team keeps running day-to-day operations and Smart Connect Pros provides the senior technical perspective for roadmap planning, vendor review, security assessments, and decisions that are expensive to get wrong.
- What is included in a security assessment?
- A security assessment is delivered as a written report. It states scope and method up front, including what the review did not cover, rates every finding by severity, gives the exact location of each issue and the change that fixes it, reports the result of scanning production dependencies for known vulnerabilities, and closes with a recommended remediation order. The report is yours to keep whether or not any remediation work follows.
