- There is no tier-one queue to get through. The person who answers is the person who understands your environment, which is why the answer usually arrives in one exchange instead of five.
- Advice you can actually act on
- Findings come with severity, cost, and a recommended order of operations. You should never be handed a report and left to work out what matters first.
- Security is part of the job, not an upsell
- Multi-factor authentication, patching, sane admin roles, and tested backups are table stakes. They are included in how systems get built here, not sold back to you after something goes wrong.
- Plain language, always
- Technical detail is available whenever you want it, and never required to follow a recommendation. If an explanation only works in jargon, it is not finished.

- Yes. Smart Connect Pros runs external network and web-application penetration tests: authorised, human-led attempts to exploit real weaknesses, scoped in writing and run to a recognised methodology such as PTES, NIST SP 800-115, and the OWASP testing guides. Findings are rated on CVSS and delivered with reproduction steps and remediation, and the engagement closes with a retest that confirms the fixes hold. A test is independent assurance only when the tester does not run the systems being tested, so independent engagements are for environments Smart Connect Pros does not manage; where it does manage the environment, that is disclosed and the work is read as internal diligence.
